HP Hits Highest Note Since 2000 And Other News
If only HP's miserble wretch of a Chairperson hadn't decided to play inch-high private eye, she would be basking in glory. Hewlett-Packard is up 2.5% at $43.71 to its highest price since November 2000. Could Carly Fiorinio's plan be working?
Say what, SAP whiffed? SAP was downgraded to hold from buy at Jefferies & Co., citing SAP's first fourth-quarter miss in seven years.
Infineon Technologies (IFX) $14.52, +0.19, +1.3% was upgraded to buy from neutral at Merrill Lynch which says it's likely to be the main supplier of wireless modem chips in the Apple iPhone.
JP Morgan downgraded DVD rental company (NFLX) $23.09 -1.15 -4.74%, as well as its rival Blockbuster, to neutral from overweight. JP Morgan said Internet data suggest there's the potential for the firm to miss subscriber targets.
